Tetbury Hospital is amazing - lovely, clean and spacious. The nurses who took care of me are incredibly caring and friendly. Jenny spent hours with me making sure I was ok before and after my operation, which she needn't have bothered doing, especially as she was dashing around doing other jobs at the same time. Sylvia was charming too. She took my blood pressure, which is naturally very low, and made sure I was ok before setting off back home after my op. Amanda, another lovely nurse made sure I was ok when I was being anesthetized and coming back to life after my op. Lisa double checked the forms I filled in were correct and was incredibly friendly. Mark the anesthetist explained everything in understandable detail that was going to happen during my op and was really easy to talk to. Mark Whittaker the surgeon, took time out to talk to me and explain the procedure of the op and came and saw me afterwards to make sure I was ok. Susan, who did my covid test 2 days prior to my op, had to come out to my car in the pouring rain and conduct test through my car window, whilst getting soaked. She was really friendly and didn't complain about the ghastly weather at all! I feel I have come away from a stint in a five star hotel!

All staff were caring and polite throughout my visit. During the operation, every thing was spot - on with the COVID Cleanliness and nursing staff were kind and caring to keep me at ease throughout .

Went in for day surgery, the staff were amazing. Really friendly and helped to put me at ease. No hanging around and procedure was well explained and handled well.

I attended Tetbury twice and on both occasions my experience was very positive. The hospital is small with none of the normal issues associated with car parking or finding the way around a large building and the staff went out of their way to be welcoming. I felt very well informed about my treatment and was reassured throughout my visits by the professionalism and kindness of everyone I met.

Like most people I was feeling very squeamish about having eye surgery for cataracts. My experiences through preop appointments, covid tests and 2 day surgeries at Tetbury hospital were just that staff are totally professional, compassionate and working together to reduce my uneasiness and keeping me informed throughout the experience. All appointments worked well and happened punctually, despite covid complications. On both surgery occasions I was at the hospital for less than hour.
